HT2. The Hilarious DUI Traffic Stop Joke That Backfired Instantly and Ended in Handcuffs

The Drunk Driver Who Thought He Had Outsmarted the Officer

It was supposed to be a routine traffic stop.

A man who had clearly had too much to drink was pulled over after an officer noticed his questionable driving. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver seemed completely unaware of just how much trouble he was in.

The officer began going through a series of sobriety tests.

One test followed another.

The driver tried his best to cooperate, but things weren’t exactly looking promising. Still, he remained confident that somehow he could talk his way out of the situation.

Then came the final test.

The officer looked at him and said, “If you can pass this last test, I’ll let you go.”

Suddenly, the driver’s attention sharpened.

This sounded like his chance.

The officer continued:

“Use the words green, pink, and yellow in one sentence.”

The driver paused for a moment.

Then, with the confidence of a man who apparently believed he had just discovered the easiest sobriety test in history, he answered:

“The grass is green, the flowers are pink, and the sun is yellow.”

For a second, everything was quiet.

The driver probably thought he had absolutely nailed it.

But then the officer had to explain something important:

Passing the word test wasn’t the same thing as passing the sobriety test.

The man’s confidence suddenly didn’t look quite as convincing anymore.

Sometimes, when you’re in trouble, the smartest move isn’t trying to be clever.

And sometimes the easiest question is still not enough to get you out of a traffic stop.
